Whitfields Helping Hands
Whitfields Insurance has been a longtime supporter of our community and communities various non-profit organizations. To make a greater contribution to this end we created Whitfields Helping Hands. The purpose of this branch of Whitfields is to provide our employees with an opportunity to volunteer their time, goods, services and/or funds to those in need both within and outside our business community.
Whitfields Helping Hands focuses on 3 major areas of community involvement:
- Helping Our Own: We assist our elderly policyholders whose homes may have fallen into a state of disrepair by making minor repairs for them. We're helping them minimize the chance they could suffer an otherwise avoidable property loss.
- Community Collection Drives: Since 2006 we have run a community-wide month-long cell phone collection drive benefitting the Snohomish County Center for Battered Women. We also participate in community-wide food drives. In addition, when an emergency presents itself where a drive to collect goods will help the situation, we're ready to help.
- We participate in non-profit organization's fundraisers as well as create fundraising opportunities to benefit charitable organizations.
